Both staff and personal contacts, with “Care” or "Manage” permissions, can view motion activity from the Wellness Hubs and household sensors in the homes of the care recipients they are assigned to.
Access the Motion Activity in the HomeSight app
- Open the HomeSight app on your device.
- Tap the Accounts icon (usually located at the bottom of the screen).
- In the search bar, enter the name of the care recipient — or swipe up to browse the list.
- Tap the care recipient’s name from the list.
- Scroll down and tap the Motion Activity section to expand it.

The Motion Activity section includes the following details:
- Calendar: Tap the calendar icon to select a preferred date. By default, it shows today's date
- Device information: Displays the name and serial number of the devices monitoring motion activity
- Motion activity reading: Shows motion activity data for the selected date (defaults to today)
View all week: Tap View All Week to display motion activity from the past 7 days
How to view motion activity for a different date
- Tap the calendar icon.
- Use the left or right arrows to change the month.
- Tap the desired date.
Tip: Tapping the calendar will always open with today's date. To return to today's reading, simply tap today's date.
Viewing Motion Activity
- By default, the motion activity readings are shown for today (12:00 AM to 11:59 PM).
- Due to screen size limitations on mobile devices, the motion activity graph displays only the first half of the day (12:00 AM to 12:00 PM).
- Swipe left to view activity from the second half of the day (12:00 PM to 11:59 PM).
- Tap View all week to see motion activity from the past 7 days.
Tap the View today only button to return to today's reading.
