Remote Control Programming

The HomeSight Remote Control will be automatically programmed to allow controlling the volume and power of the TV when the Wellness Hub setup is used or when a new TV is detected via the HDMI port.

Problem

There may be instances where the automatic programming may not succeed due to the TV make/model being brand new or not recognized for the specific region. 

Solution

Program the HomeSight Remote Control on the Wellness Hub's settings menu.

 

To program the Remote control

  1. If necessary, press the Home button on the HomeSight remote to return to the Home screen.
  2. Navigate to Settings > Remote Setup.HSTV_Remote_Setup_tile_rs.png

  3. Click the OK button and follow the prompts on the screen to begin programming the remote for the TV.

  4. After the remote programming has completed, click on the TV and Home buttons on the remote and test the audio buttons to verify functions are working correctly.
