Connecting HDMI cables (one of the 2 possible configurations)
- If there is a video device (set-top box, Roku, Firestick, etc) connected to the TV, the Hub must be installed between video device and TV.
- NOTE: TV Must support 1080p and video device must output on either 1080p or 720p
- On the TV: Disconnect HDMI cable going to video device
- Plug that cable into the INPUT port on Wellness Hub.
Use included HDMI cable and connect from TO TV port on Hub to HDMI port on TV.
- If there is a video device (set-top box, Roku, Firestick, etc) connected to the TV, the Hub must be installed between video device and TV.
- If either of these conditions are met:

Place the Wellness Hub (Positioning)

If placing on top of TV: open the double hinge on the Hub, place carefully on top of TV, adjust hinge so Hub sits securely.
Note: To prevent Hub from falling forward, HDMI cables need to be connected first
Note: Do not try to slide the automatic shutter cover manually as it slides open for a video call and slides back in as the call ends automatically.
- If placing on a table / tabletop: leave hinge folded, place as close to TV as possible.

Power up the Hub
- Connect USB-C cable to the POWER port on Hub and connect to the included power supply.

(Not Recommended) Wired Ethernet Setup
- If Wi-Fi is unreliable: connect an Ethernet cable (not included) from Hub’s Ethernet port to home router’s LAN port.

Enable CEC on the TV, if supported
- NOTE: Skip if using if using Input port on Wellness Hub

CEC: a communication used over an HDMI cable allowing devices to control other devices just by being connected. Each company has a different name for it
- Common Brands include:
- AOC: E-link
- Hitachi: HDMI-CEC
- LG: SimpLink
- Mitsubishi: NetCommand for HDMI
- Onkyo: RIHD (Remote Interactive over HDMI)
- Panasonic: HDAVI Control, EZ-Sync, or VIERA Link
- Philips: EasyLink
- Pioneer: Kuro Link
- Runco International: RuncoLink
- Samsung: Anynet+
- Sharp: Aquos Link
- Sony: BRAVIA Sync
- TCL: Control other devices (CEC)
- Toshiba: CE-Link or Regza Link
- Vizio: CEC
- Common Brands include:
- Reference TV Manual or Google for instructions on enabling CEC for each model
On-Screen Setup
- Turn on TV and change the active source to the HDMI port to which Wellness Hub is connected.

Use the HomeSight Remote Control (remove plastic tab) to pair, press and hold Back + Home until the remote's LED blinks red.

Select language via arrow keys + OK.

Connect Hub to internet via Wi-Fi, Ethernet not recommended
- The Hub will check for software updates. If an update is available it will auto-update and reboot. Do not power off during the update.
- Assign the hub to a room

The hub will then automatically begin TV Control setup. This enables the user to press the TV button on the HomeSight Remote Control to watch TV and press the Home button to return to the HomeSight Camera menu.

- Setup should complete almost instantly

If using a CEC enabled TV
- On the next screen, select the input that the video device is connected to
- Press the 'TV' button on the Wellness Hub remote to change the active TV source to the video device.
- Wait and verify the TV changes the active source to the video device, then after a moment, automatically switches back to the Wellness Hub
- You will be asked if "the screen changed to your preferred TV source and returned automatically"
- If it did, click yes

If not using a CEC enabled TV
- You will be asked to press the TV button to cycle through your TV's input sources
- Press the TV button until you navigate to the video device (may take multiple key presses)
- Verify audio and video are displayed correctly on TV from the video device
- Begin pressing the TV button on the HomeSight remote again, until you return to the Wellness Hub (may take multiple key presses)
- You will be asked if "the screen moved to your chosen source and returned correctly"
- if it did, click yes

If using a CEC enabled TV
- You will see a screen saying “You’ve successfully set up your Device”
- Click Done
- From the HomeSight main menu, alternate pressing the TV button and Home button on the HomeSight remote to verify switching between TV and the Wellness Hub is working.
- Pair any environmental sensors - reference Environmental Sensor guide
- Pair any supported wellness devices (thermometer, Pulse Ox, weight scale, BP cuff, glucometer)
- From the HomeSight main menu navigate to:
- Settings > Wellness Devices
- Click “Start”
- Place the wellness device into pairing mode. - Reference the manual for each wellness device for instructions on enabling pairing mode
- You will hear a ding as well as see each device get added on the screen
- When done, click “Done”
- Reference TV Manual or Google for instructions on enabling CEC for each model
Troubleshooting

Video Switching
- Incorrect video resolution message
- Resolution
- Remove the power cable from both the Wellness Hub and video device
- Re-insert the power to both the Wellness Hub and video device
- Wait for both to power up
- Has the problem been resolved? If no, continue to next step
- Move the video device’s HDMI back to one of the TV’s HDMI ports
- Change the TV’s active source to the video device
- Use the video device’s settings to manually set the device to either 720p or 1080p
- Return the video device’s HDMI back to the Input port on the back of the Wellness Hub
- Re-run TV control setup
- Wellness Hub > Settings > TV Control
- Resolution
- Not switching / Black screen / No video message
- Resolution
- Move the video device’s HDMI back to one of the TV’s HDMI ports
- Change the TV’s active source to the video device
- Ensure video and audio are presented from video device on TV
- On video Device: Ensure all sleep / hibernation settings are disabled
- Return the video device’s HDMI back to the Input port on the back of the Wellness Hub
- Re-run TV control setup
- Wellness Hub > Settings > TV Control
- Resolution

WiFi Connectivity
- Unable to find WiFi password
- Look for WiFi router
- Is the password written on a sticker?
- Is there a WPS button

Press and hold the WPS button until a light begins to blink
- On the WiFi Setup screen, click “WPS”

- Is there a mobile device (phone / tablet) in the home already connected to WiFi?
- Create a QR Code from that device
- Android (minimum version 10)
- Go to Settings > Network & internet > Wi-Fi (or Connections) >Gear icon / Settings for Wi-Fi network > Share
- IOS (minimum version 18)
- Open Passwords app > Wi-Fi > select network > Generate QR Code
- Android (minimum version 10)
- On the Wellness Hub’s WiFi setup screen: click “QR Code”
- Create a QR Code from that device
- Is the WiFi router in close proximity to the Wellness Hub?

- Locate an ethernet cable
- Connect the Wellness Hub’s ethernet port on one end
- Connect the other end to the WiFi Router

Environmental Sensor does not pair
- Is the blue LED blinking on the front of the device?
- No
- Remove plastic tab if it has not been removed
- If LED is now blinking attempt to pair again
- If not, replace AA batteries

- Factory Reset Sensor: Open battery compartment

Slightly remove the top of one of the AA batteries and reinsert 4 times quickly ensuring blue LED lights up with each tap
- Reinsert the AA batteries fully and wait for blue LED to blink steadily

105 - Registration Error
This is most likely due to a DNS lookup failure or a port being blocked by a firewall
- If possible try a different network
- Ensure the following ports are open:
