Overview
The voice button on the HomeSight remote control can be pressed to enable commands using voice.
This feature is useful for those who have difficulty using the remote to navigate the HomeSight TV user interface.
Important: Do not speak directly to the remote control, instead, speak out loud to the Wellness Hub.
Enabling This Feature
This feature is disabled by default. Please contact your HomeSight provider to have this feature enabled.
Using Voice Commands
- Press the button with the microphone symbol on the remote control ONCE.
- Wait for the to message to appear at the bottom of the TV screen saying I'm listening...
- The table below states the voice commands that can be used.
Command Example Description Call <name> Call Dougal Haggerty Initiates a video call to the named contact Watch TV Switch to the preferred TV source View Gallery or View Photos Launch the Gallery to view all photos and videos View Photos from <name> View Photos from Dougal Haggerty Launch the Gallery and only view photos and video from the named contact - Note: Voice commands should be spoken to the Wellness Hub, and not directly at the remote control.
Troubleshooting
If you see the message below, remember to speak to the Wellness Hub, and not to the remote control.
