Scheduled Events

Overview

Events are divided into three categories, which are Calls, Reminders, and Tasks.

Calls

Video calls can be scheduled between staff and family members and the Wellness Hub user. Only contacts that are part of the Wellness Hub users contact list can schedule calls. For Wellness Hub users who do not want their video enabled during a call, there is an configuration setting that allows audio only calls.

Calls can be scheduled using the Care Portal or the HomeSight mobile app.

Reminders

Reminders are split into two types:

• Reminder: Visual cue on the Wellness hub that informs the user of something happening soon. It could be a reminder that a favorite TV program is starting soon or they have a home delivery arriving.
• Visit: Visual cue on the Wellness Hub that informs the user that there will be somebody coming to visit them. This could be a caregiver or a family member.

Tasks

Tasks require the Wellness Hub user to acknowledge that they have completed the task. Tasks are set to a defined timeframe and can be snoozed by the Wellness Hub user if they cannot complete the task immediately.

Tasks are divided into eight categories for ease of searchability.
