It is recommended to disable the LEDs on the Shelly smart plug. This makes the smart plug less visible and obtrusive, meaning less chance of it being unplugged or removed.
- Login to the Shelly App. The dashboard will be displayed.
- Click on the device you want to configure. See image below, do not click on the power button icon as that will toggle the power state of the smart plug.
- Scroll down the menu on the left of the screen and click on the cog (settings) icon at the bottom.
- From the list of options, click on LED indicator color mode
- Select option: Off. Then click on Save.
- In normal operation, the smart plug will not illuminate any LED's. The only time they will illuminate is when the smart plug is performing a software update.
