To configure and edit Account Settings:
- Log into the Care Portal.
- In the Accounts list, select the Account that you want to update the Settings for.
- Click on Edit Profile at the top of the screen to open the profile page.
- Click on Settings to open the Settings page.
- The Settings page allows configuration of certain system settings on a per-user basis.
- When you have made all the Settings changes, click on Update at the bottom of the screen. You may have to scroll down to see the Update button.
Deployment Status
A Wellness Hub by default is set to deployed when it is assigned to an Account. A Wellness hub can be set o undeployed. Such a scenario would be if the Wellness Hub user goes on holiday or goes into hospital.
- Click on the Deployed toggle to deploy or un-deploy the the Wellness Hub.
Contacting Staff
This setting configures which non-staff members can contact staff members using the Wellness Hub or the Mobile App. Most non-staff members would usually be family members.
- Click on the toggles to enable or disable the roles which can contact staff members.
The default behavior is to allow all contacts to call staff. It is recommended to disable all.
Screensaver
The Wellness Hub has a screensaver that is activated after a period of non-use. If photographs have been shared with the Wellness Hub user then these will be displayed after a defined time. If no photographs have been shared then a carousel of royalty free images will be used.
- Click on the down arrow to view and select the time before the screensaver becomes active.
- The available times are
- 15 minutes
- 10 minutes
- 5 minutes
Call Settings
There are configurable settings related to video calling.
- Allow Auto Answer. The Wellness Hub can be configured to auto answer an in-coming call. It is disabled by default after 15 seconds. It can be configured so that the Wellness Hub will only auto answer in-coming calls from contacts that have a certain role.
- Show all controls on TV. Disabling this feature removes the video call controls that are shown on the Wellness Hub during a call. This feature can be used to stop accidental audio muting by the Wellness Hub user.
- Start Call as Audio Only. The feature allows a call to be started as audio only. Video can be activated during the call.
TV Notifications
Notifications are primarily displayed on the TV but they are include audible alerts and sounds on the Wellness Hub.
- Auto Dismiss. The time before notifications on the TV disappear.
- Notification Volume. The volume level for notifications calling ringing on the Wellness Hub.
- TV Auto Wakeup & Switch. If the TV is in standby mode, when the Wellness Hub receives a incoming video call, it can wake the TV up and automatically switch to the Wellness Hub.
