Product Update
Care Portal (web) updated to version 3.3.8 (changes listed since 3.3.6-1)
Organization Dashboard (aggregate statistics) updated and available to Staff and select invited Organization members
New Features:
- Custom TV Notification Timeout
To make things easier for clients who might find the remote control challenging to use, we’ve added new options in the Care Portal (web) to manage the timeouts for notifications shown on the TV through the Wellness Hub.
New Configurable Setting: Organizations can now choose how long notifications (reminders, missed calls, messages) stay on screen before auto-dismissal. This new setting is in the client Account / Edit Profile / Settings tab / “TV Notification Timeout” drop down selection.
Available Timeout Options: 1 min, 5 min, 15 min, 30 min, 1 hr, or “Never” (requires manual dismissal; this is the default).
Note: Task notifications are excluded and will always require remote control interaction.
Note: this requires the updated Wellness Hub release 0.84 to be available before changes will take effect on the hub.
- Restrict viewing call durations
To better align with business customer requests and protect privacy, we’ve updated how call durations are displayed:
New Setting Available: Organizations can now enable a policy to hide call durations from non-Staff members. Only call history will be shown on web and mobile.
On TV via Wellness Hub: Call history and duration display is being removed for all. This change is not configurable.
APIs: Call data record APIs are unaffected and will report the proper call data
- Identify deployed vs not deployed Wellness Hubs
To help organizations better track how HomeSight Accounts and associated Wellness Hubs are used, we’ve added a new setting for STAFF ADMIN users:
New Account level setting: Accounts can now be marked as “Deployed” to indicate they are actively used with a client, versus not deployed and used for demos or office use. In the Account / Edit Profile page / Settings tab there is a new toggle “Deployed”.
Organizational dashboards will now include visual reporting and charts to show trends over time for deployed vs. assigned accounts.
-
Zoom Webinar support
HomeSight now supports Zoom Webinars, expanding virtual engagement options for clients and staff. There is no change to how you use the Web portal for this – simply Add a Call and select Zoom Meeting type and enter the webinar link in the same manner as a meeting. For the Wellness Hub the experience is unchanged.
Reminder that the hosting and web/mobile joining of any Zoom Meeting or Webinar remains unchanged and uses the Zoom website and mobile app.
Updates:
- Account / Edit Profile: the city lookup in Account / Edit Profile is now available when the optional additional patient demographic data display is disabled (it is disabled by default outside the UK)
- Add Account: The Add Account action is no longer available from the Inventory page. Please use the Add Account action from the Account list page.
-
Smart Home / Environmental:
- Improved environmental graph to highlight data discontinuities (device disconnect/connect time periods)
- incorrect measurement unit presenting the low temperature under the insight summary table
- Removed the date selector from the environmental table view
- Date formats: Date of Birth (DOB) and other wellness/environmental dates are not aligned with the Account profile locale for date format
-

-
Deprecate ‘Add Account’ action from Inventory page
To simplify workflows and remove outdated references, we’ve made the following change:
Removed: The legacy Add Account form from the Inventory page in the Web portal has been removed.
Use Instead: Staff should now use the updated Add Account button available on the Account List page.
Click to go to the Account list:Then click Add
Known issues:
- Send Message: when using the Send Message action from the Account list the text from any previous message sent by the signed-in web user to any Account during the current sign-in session will be seen (but can be edited before sending. This behavior is not seen when using the Send Message action from the specific Account page or from mobile.
-
Link to Provider in the Org Dashboard portal
Not working: A “View Dashboard” link is displayed on the Support / Help page in the Web portal. This is intended to open the Organization Dashboard in a new tab and will show aggregate statistics for the scope that the signed in STAFF / ADMIN user has in that provider. This is currently not working.
Organization Dashboard / Statistics and Reporting (1.6.1)
